Mohegan Sun

The Challenge

Mohegan Sun was created in 1996 by the Mohegan Tribe & is an amazing destination with a convention center, meeting facility, & some of New England's finest dining, retail shopping, hotel accommodations, live entertainment & sporting events. There are over 10,000 on staff, with a highly dedicated & specialized management team of over 100. Annually, the company holds a 1-2 day meeting & with over 100 executives attending, leadership knew there was  a possibllity of staff losing focus & motivation. This concern offered an opportunity to do something both unique & rewarding.

The Application

Based on pre-session interviews with Mohegan management, BOOM was able to create a stimulating & compelling "Ice Breaker" session, that kicked off Mohegan Sun's agenda. The session offered clear tools for creating better communication, during what many percieved as a "grinding" agenda, & empowered managers to get up from their seats, move, get the adrenline going, & to challenge themselves to communicate within & across department lines.
