The College of Staten Island (CSI) The Challenge The College of Staten Island is a senior college of The City University of New York. CSI offers a broad range of academic programs in the liberal arts and sciences, as well as on campus doctoral programs. The Director of the Childrens Center, teaching staff members and administrators reached out to BOOM during their staff development series seeking ways to: improve communications between union and non-union members, to create more cooperative interactions between administration and staff and for assistance in forming more effective teaching teams. The Application BOOM customized the "Energizer" session to meet the requests of both teaching staff and administration. The sessions offered participants opportunities to work together through dynamic, fun 'out of your chair' interactions and role play. And when discussed in debriefs, rendered improved understanding of roles, responsibilities and relationships. Quote "Thank you for a truly "energizing" experience.
